Know what a jelly baby is? Same kind of category, roughly. Small, gelatine
based chewy sweets, in an assortment of shapes, with badly embossed
alcoholic drinks stamped on them - port, brandy, gin... and in a variety of
colours. Chewier than a jelly baby.
Kind of addictive, even though there's no alcohol in them to speak of.
You can buy them loose as well over here, and they come in huge plastic
jars - I'll have to find out how much one of them costs at the local trade
cash and carry at some stage.

Bits of them tend to stick to your teeth and gums, usually in the most
inaccessible places for a tongue or finger to reach.

Thought of a couple of more things for you to order

Confectionery

Cadbury's Fuse bar - pretty cool - nougat, raisins and possibly nut pieces.
Nestle Chunky Kit Kat, as someone else mentioned - good stuff, but tends to
repeat on me for some odd reason!?
Boost bar - dunno maker, but kinda similar to a thick peanut butter, for
your reference, wrapped in caramel or toffee and coated in chocolate.

Biscuits

McVitie's Chocolate Hobnobs
McVitie's Jesters (milk and dark chocolate - I refuse to call it plain
chocolate, even though it's our crap British variety of chocolate.)
McVitie's Rich Tea. Uncomplicated, classic biscuit.

Foxes selections - various high quality biscuits.

Hate to think of the price if you order from ukfood.com, but I'll see what I
find next time I'm out shopping for you... your package is going to end up a
lot bigger than I first thought!

Maybe I should just put a big Red Cross Food Parcel sticker on it or
something... 'humanitarian aid for the culturally/confectionery challenged'
(snigger)

Sauces

Dijonaise - dunno maker. Mayo and French Dijon mustard... to die for in
sandwiches. (bacon butties, with salad are unbelievable)
Daddy's Brown Sauce - Superior brown sauce, without the nasty tang of HP
sauce. Try it in bacon butties...

Crisps (potato chips to you lot)

Walkers Quavers - cheesy crisps... yummy
" Monster Munch - various odd flavours, with that burn your mouth
overkill effect.
Phenious Fogg (sp? the guy from around the world in 80 days, in anycase)
snacks - too many to mention, but some interesting ones. Various snacks
based on different countries.

Snacks

KP Chilli nut mix - tube of. Also available in cheese variety.
Mini popadoms (lime and ginger, iirc, not the plain variety) dunno who makes
them.
Pork scratchings. The most awesome are usually found behind the bar at
pubs, but I think they're sold at some supermarkets. It'll make Marmite
seem like ice cream... <g>

Kellogg's Nutrigrain bars - Twist variety, especially. Flavours include
apple, blueberry and so on. Guess these are available to you though.

Heh, and just for a laugh the Pot Noodle snacks... <g> Available as Pot
noodle, rice and mash varieties (yup, mashed potato) Made by Kellogg's,
iirc.

Actually, have you tried visiting any of the uk supermarket websites?
Tesco, Asda and so on (just shove a .co.uk behind 'em) for some idea of
what's going on here. Or even the Nestle or Cadbury websites, assuming they
have one.
