I used to know this, but with all the Windows stuff I've been using now I
can't remember.

I am trying to run XCOM - UFO Defense from WIN98. This is a formatted HD,
from scratch install, and that means that WIN98 set up the sound card.

When I run the game I get music but no sound effects. I'm running it from
in a DOS session, in other words I made a short cut from the file manager
and that's how I start the game.

Can anyone tell me how I can get sound effects in the game? Any help would
be appreciated.
