HI well I first got laser squad on the good ole spectrum 48k in 1988. The spectrum was like the commordore in UK terms. Well it kept me up all night and day... bloody excellent!!! I even got to meet the makers of the game (gallop bros) at a computer fair in 1990. Great bunch of guys!!! Even got the orignal laser squad posters I then brought and amiga and I thought I was free, then laser squad came out on the amiga. Again more sleepless nights... lastly I brought a PC in 1992, and Laser squad came out yet again... well as you can guess the games is additive. Laser squad is like a 2d version of Xcom 1. It's brillaint, and I've got the speccy version on ROM too! Back to more sleepless nights!!! ho hum! Lee BTW, before laser squad, there were pre-sequals of laser Sq. Called Rebel star 1 + 2... :-) same thing!!! pure genuis! ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- --------- Andreas Rust wrote in message <01bdc322$858da980$0200a8c0@hal9000>... >Greetings Silicoid-Busters! :) > > >What is that game "Laser Squad" I have read of about? >As far as I got to know, it is an inofficial Prequel to X-Com 1. >Is it as good as it's successors? >Please, give me mor info on that one, if there's a game as good as X-Com 1 >and 2, I wouldn't want to miss it! ;) > > > >-Andreas.
