Answering questions numerically... 1. Need help in researching the Leviathan? What do you need? Patrick, Are you asking or offering information - I assume the question marks indicate the former. If you check out the following link - http://www.gamecenter.com/Underground/Faqs/Strategy/Xcom2/ - this should give you the most up to date offering of the FAQ. Also, as listed in the OSG, the research tree runs something like this Ion Beam Acc.+ Live Lobsterman Navigator+Alien Sub Construction [Base components] Magnetic Ion Armour+Transmission Resolver [As secondary components] Manta [which leads to] Hammerhead Live Lobsterman Commander [which gives you] Leviathan However, if you use the tftdv2 patch, obtainable from http://www.microprose.com/ this will change - you will have to consult the actual patch, as it contains the information you need. Try this : http://www.microprose.com/corporatedesign/techsupport/hot/tftdv2.zip Which should take you directly to the page you need for the patch. 2. The Alien containment facility works in an extremely irritating and odd way, for my liking. No matter how many A C's you build, you can only hold 10 different types. To quote Kasey Chang, who offered me the same information - I asked him exactly the same questions you are asking now... "My question being: did you have 10 different "combos" already in your alien containment? If so, any and all aliens you captured (except those fitting the combo already in the alien containment) will come back as DEAD. That's the 10-alien-type limit. Or to give the sample again: Say you have these in alien containment aquatoid/soldier aquatoid/medic aquatoid/leader Deep One Tentaculat Lobsterman/soldier Lobsterman/navigator That's SEVEN types of aliens (i.e. 7 combos) If you catch more Deep One, you STILL have SEVEN (same type as in your containment) If you catch a Lobsterman/commander, then that'll make it EIGHT (different type/combo than in containment) The TOTAL limit is TEN. If you get any MORE than that, the aliens you get are DEAD. Is that more understandable?" +++End Quote+++ It really annoys me the way it works and has meant I now implement selective capture and execution of all aliens captured or unconscious during missions. It means ultimately you will be buggered by the game - no matter if you play really well, the game can mess up your ability to complete the game simply because of the way the containment works. I take it you are not using the patch? If not, it may well be useful to upgrade - just remember you will have to start a new game, as if you don't, it goes seriously weird and unplayable. Hope this helps Detonate
