The most straightforward answer would be to take along at least two nauts
with MC Disruptors [with high MC strength & skill, naturally]. Send out
'ensign expendable' to scan the view and once he locates a hostile, get the
MC boys to get control over the alien. Spin him round, drop the weapon and
march it across the landscape until you see another alien - repeat the
exercise until the majority of aliens are dead.
Some one once said the best Tentaculate is a dead one. So its a
question of waxing them on sight. Of course, with your controlled alien,
you could try and kill any Tents you saw, or try and control one, and have
it head for the nearest alien it spots, thus saving you the burden of having
to kill it yourself, since next turn the aliens will kill it for you -
simple!
