ops, forget to tell you guys that I am playing the TFTD Dos version in Xp

and all the patch / utiity that I tried did not work at all, still have
the same problem.

I also tried using the Dosbox. In battle mode,is very sluggish and slow (
frame/ cycle speed adjustment only work marginally in Geoscope mode, no
effect at all in battle mode, at least noen taht I can notice) .

The Terror site battle mode actually "abruptly" end the mission, sometime
after a few turns, sometime right away, sometime almost at the end ,when I
am trying to flush the last few buildings. (just like if I pressed the
"Abort") with the score result remembering the last battle mode (most of
the time the last ufo recovery mission, or sometime just "mission failed
.. civilian killed ....14 etc).

BUT ALWAYS A TERROR SITE

and followed by no sound at all and the game proceed normaly in geoscope
mode.

any suggestion?
