As promised, I have been working on a new version of XcomUtil which adds
Research Help from Captives to TFTD. Well, I now THINK I have it working, but
I have not done enough testing to be comfortable about officially releasing it.
However, if anyone wants to try what I have so far, you can download it using
the tiny "beta" link near the end of my XcomUtil Homepage listed below. I am
currently designing some additional features that COULD redesign the TFTD
research tree, but it may be a while since I am very busy at work during the
week AND won't be able to work on it next weekend because of my son's college
graduation (FINALLY! He's 26!). Helping him move may also consume the
following weekend, so XcomUtil will be on the back burner for a while. If I
figure out how to change the research tree before I am ready to officially
release 9.31 (that means: have time to play a major part of a game to test it),
I will just release it as 9.40 instead.
