It almost looks like Alliance is going further back to the roots of
UFO, with the types of aliens, the atomsphere and details like in one
of the screenshots where there is an alien room with an "egyptian"
pyramid with an alien sphinx head on it :-) and then the rooms with
the alien fetuses in the green waterish glas jars :-) Man I hope you
can blow those apart... dead aliens leave their weapons behind, like
in the three first X-Com games :-)

And the graphics are incredible to boost... if there was ever a
first-person shooter to get, this is it! And I'm no huge fan of
FPS's... sadly I barely have the hardware to run any new games these
days and no 3d accelerator so I'm screwed, but it's gonna be fun to
watch :-\
