Hello, residents of alt.games.x-com!

I am Greenish_9 (an internet nick, obviously) and I have recently
discovered this newsgroup. I have to say, it seems to be a very mature,
controlled enviroment - no flaming or trolling at all! It is also
extremely interesting to find other people's opinions on the XCOM
games. Just for future reference, my favourite of the series was X-COM:
Apocalypse (sure, it was bugged, had a lot of odd, unfinished items, but
it WAS released earl, after all...cheers, Microprose...;) ) although I
also own UFO: Enemy Unknown (or XCOM: UFO defense) and demos of TFTD and
Interceptor.

I am extremely interested in the game that is being planned here. It is
being very well thought out, and seems very ambitious, to say the
least! I love the ideas that are being proposed, and, after some
thought, I might even have some of my own!

Anyway, I'm just writing to say 'hi' and introduce myself, as some
newsgroups dislike people just turning up and posting...so there you go,
now you can't complain!

C Ya!
Greenish_9
