We're falling-all-over-ourselves-happy for you.

Wow, you really can't wait to earn the opprobrium of the regulars on
this group, can you?

Let me spell it out for you:

First, in spite of the fact that the upper management of Hasbro are a
bunch of money grubbing suits, no one here wants to know about your use
of cracks/hacks.

Second, the game only costs $4.99 in the bargain bin and the last
official (and still very much available) patch disables the copy
protection anyway.

Third, this a not a binaries newsgroup, so if you post it you run a fair
risk of having your ISP cancel your account for violating their terms of
service/acceptable use policy. ISP's hate binary postings because they
eat up huge amounts of valuable bandwidth.

Fourth, this newsgroup is visited by some of the guys that originally
wrote the games and also by the hasbro developers that are working on
the NEXT xcom game. In short, you've come here and publicly admitted
that you have willingly stolen their intellectual property. We value
the occasional input by these guys and respect their work.

Why on earth would we want people posting hacks?

So does Microprose, on the official website.

That is, if you *like* bugs...

<sigh> Well, we're all entitled to our opinions, aren't we?

Great news group. Glad to see all yall here.

We know. We want to keep it that way. Please note that I'm not
suggesting you leave. You're perfectly welcome to stay but you might
get more replies if you bother to learn a little about the ng first.
