Yep Keith sounds about right, I to had the same problem some time ago, I had everything research, weapons, ect,ect, but the game just went on and on. The problem was, I wasnt reading the breifing at the start of a mission. When I did read my mission I could and did give my self a good kicking. Yes to progress in the game I had to catch a commander or some other high ranking alien (there was quite a few I had to catch,of different races. Anyway I hoped we helped in some way.
