  I managed to nail Thrakath and return to the ship when (we see the
cut scene re Angel) and now I can't find him @ the last waypoint to
end the game. Are these facts related? I assume that he's still alive,
since he appears in a cut scene AFTER he's defeated. Any help out

He'll be there- you just have to wait a long time. Try going away from
the nav point until all the enemy ships are off your screens so you
can autopilot. After doing this two or three times, Thrak should show
up for you to waste.
