I am at the mission where I have to test my special missile on an unstable
planet to make sure it will work on Kilrah. When I get to my ship and my
flight computer starts checking all flight systems the game suddenly
crashes and gives me a message that my computer couldn't find the special
load (probably this special missile).
Has anyone else had the same problem or does anyone know a solution for my
problem? Please help, I really want to see the end of the story before WC4
arrives.
Thanks,

Jeroen

I don't know what you have tried in the past, so I will start with the most simple
thing. When you load your armament, did you load the missle. @nd, you may have a bad
disk.

Are you sure your computer can handle the game? WCIII takes a
486/66DX2 and 16 meg of ram. The reason I say 16 meg of ram is
because most of the computers on the market today have Win95 on them,
and Win95 takes 8 meg of ram to run......even in DOS! The reason I
know this is because I went to install Strike Commander and it said I
had 3 meg of memory!!! See, Win95 and DOS 7.0 are ONE ENTITY!!! Even
though you go to DOS, the Win95 drivers are still in force. (Type
"Mem/D/P" to get a breakdown of what's in your memory). Also, bear in
mind that if your video card doesn't have at least 2 meg of RAM, that
this also could be causing it to crash or lock up! (I found this out
the HARD WAY!!) Games requirements, IMHO, have far exceded the bulk
of the computers that are being sold....most of the computers sold
are generally 486/33DX2's......far too weak to play WCIII.....(I
know, I have one!) My guess is that WC4 will require a pentium to
run......leaving most of us WC enthusiasts in the dust.....
