Hi, Until recently, moving my joystick gave me headings at the bottom of the screen referring to what I was pointing at (while onboard ship, that it). Anyway, now it's gone. I've tried going into all possibel menus / options etc that I know but nothing... I really don't want to have to reinstall so any answers would be much appreciated. TIA Tony R

Maybe your problem is that on the control screen, you may have
pressed the DESCRIPTIONS option and that cause the text off. Press it
on and then see what happens. If that doesn't help, maybe you should
call Origin.

Probably due to a configuration change. Load it and try again.

Make sure you have a proper mouse driver installed. When I first installed the game, I had an incompatible mouse driver. Removing the driver got me into the game but killed subtitles. I got a new mouse driver and the first time I used it, I got my subtitles back. Dan

Hit the WC3 -i or the options screen. There should be something called hotspots or hotpoints or hot ass or something. Turn it back on.

It was the MOUSE DRIVER !!!!!! Don't know how it got out of my Win95 shortcut config but it did. Anyway, thanks VERY much to all who replied with suggestions. Regards, Tony R
