I'm using a ** GAMEPORT ** (joystick box thingy that connects into
my printer port on my notebook) to use joysticks on my notebook
computer. It came out after Wing Commander II was released, so it
didn't supply me with software to make my WCII compatible with it.
SO, does anyone know where i can find the GAMEPORT file (if ever there
is one) to allow me to use my joystick,
OR
If there is a program made that allows the computer to believe that
whereever it gets asked to look for the joystick at the normal joystick
place, it looks for it at lpt1 ????
I hope all this isn't to confusing. =)

They come out on a game by game basis and I've never seen one for WC2 (though you could check the EA site to make sure). > OR > > If there is a program made that allows the computer to believe that > whereever it gets asked to look for the joystick at the normal joystick > place, it looks for it at lpt1 ???? > > I hope all this isn't to confusing. =) So far as I know, you have to write a driver for a game port for every game. Dunno why. Maybe you should yell at Colorado for an answer to this.
