Does anyone know if a patch was ever released that would allow you to 
convert the Wing Commander II savegame file to WC3?  As released, WC3 
didn't allow a user to import their stats from the prior versions of WC 
and I was wondering if this was ever remedied.

Even worse, when you transfer from special operations 1 to SO2, it chops 
about 400 kills off your total...I ran the entire series killing *EVERYTHING*
to see just how many I could get...and then that happened *cry*

Course, SO2 did patch the WCII maingame so it wouldn't crash on this one 
mission...

According to the Wing Commander III FAQ, there was never a patch that
allowed you to import stats. However, I may be wrong and there may be
one out there.

I just bought the Origin Sampler which included the WCIV trailer, and I
have to say that it is incredible. The video and CG were great.

If you don't have the Sampler, it is great and you should get it. It
includes the trailer and a mission to play. The CD costs only 5 bucks.

Also, has anyone seen the trailer at a General Cinema? I wonder what it
would look like in the big screen.
