Hi, I'm trying to play Wing commander prophecy on a Celeron 3 Ghz windows XP computer, but I can't see the cut scenes because it goes to fast, I have tried cpu killer 3 and ended setting slow factor to 100 % without success. The game itself goes well, but I can not see the cut scenes. Anybody know what to do? Tim

If that doesn't work, try turning down the sound hardware acceleration. You can do that through DXDiag (under the audio tab), or via the control panel. CP->Sounds and Audio Devices->Audio Tab, then click the "Advanced" button under sound playback, Performance tab, then adjust the hardware acceleration slider, trying to move it one notch at a time. In any case it would be recommended to use a slowdown utility like TURBO and reduce the CPU speed by only 1%. This is usually sufficient to get the built in speed limiter to work again. -- After God created Women, beer was the bugfix. [Delete the karl after the @ to avoid my spam trap]
