Boy, am I glad to have bought an old computer to run Dos on :) Now I can play Wing Commander, Privateer 2 etc :)

Wing commander wasn't my first game, but it was definitely the best back then. The WC series was designed for PC, and was converted to console for limited play. Too bad Chris roberts left origins and went to microsoft. Freelancer was a whole-scale ripoff of the original privateer game, set in a different universe because he was unable to acquire all of the rights. Origins, now EA, doesn't want to revive the line.
