For some unknown reason movie scenes (like one in the start of the game) are
playing too fast and sound is very erratic.

I tryed playing with sound hardware acceleration settings but without
results.

WIN XP pro, AMD 1,7XP, EPOX RDA+, Radeon 8500LE, 256Mb RAM....

any ideas?

Hello,

had the same problem, couldn´t solve it totally, but:

had to do with CD-Speed, used a tool called "cd bremse"

(www.cd-bremse.de), which slowed down speed.

at least 3 times speed works best, but speech could be understood and
movie could be send.

hope, anybody has a better solution.

Win XÜ, Athlon 2000, 512 MB geforce 4MX 460

Have you tried the sound acceleration trick (if you have no idea what I'm
talking about, that would be a no.)

I fixed the problem with an earlier PC I had by disabling the hardware
acceleration on the soundcard, which I think is what TC is referring to.

Yes I tried sound acceleration trick; if I set it up on lovest
acceleration the game hangups in movies. Other settings are all with
the same result; too fast.

I will try CD-bremse later.

TNX.

Another thing you could try is lowering the hardware acceleration on the
video card. Right-click on My Computer, select Properties, go to the
Performance tab, and click Graphics. Lower the hardware acceleration one
notch at a time, and see if it helps. It worked for me in the past.
