I miss the WC Saga. I haven' tplayed in ages; I just bought the DVD-Edition of WCI4V (whoops) on E-bay, but I want the rest, in PC-runnable condition. To this end, I was wondering if anyone had any idea where to get the Kilrathi Saga? I can't find anywhere online. AlsO: Actually, I'll save that for another thread...

Ebay - but you have to sell your firstborn to get it (aka $300 and up).
Alternaviely get the DOS versions of WC2 and WC3 and look for the PC
Gamer version of WC1.

PC Gamer put out an issue that had a CD with a bunch of full version classic games on it, including the KS version of WC1. I believe it was May, June, or July 2000 (I remember buying it near the end of the schoolyear)

It's more difficult to get the speed in WC1 and SM1 right, but it's easier than getting KS or the PC Gamer disc. Chris Reid Wing Commander CIC Chri...@wcnews.com http://www.wcnews.com

I dunno, but WC1 on a 2Ghz+ machine can be quite some trouble. -- Silly question of the day: Why does New Jersey have more toxic waste dumps and California have more lawyers? I guess I was thinking if you can get WC2 to run, you can force WC1/SM1 through SM2.. but that's not the best way to play (mixed characters and mass drivers on the Dralthi) Chris Reid Wing Commander CIC Chri...@wcnews.com http://www.wcnews.com
