Hello

i have a problem with privateer 1.
I played it for some time and now, suddenly after loading a savegame
everytime when i click with the mouse on the "base"screen it opens the PAD
(right name? where you can save/load/view your stats)..
so i cannot access the interior of the base OR launch my spacecraft... the
same happens if i use the <enter> - button.
maybe its keymappings got screwed?

i remember this error from my last time with privateer some years ago, but
cant remember what caused it / how to fix it..

Can someone give me a clue please?

   That's an unusual one.. but familiar to me too, like you said.  I do
seem to recall it having to do with a conflict.. perhaps mouse or
joystick or soundcard driver.  Can you unload those and see if it
persists?  What happens if you hit the spacebar or try to open the pad
normally?

IIRC it was a bug at a point in the game

needed a patch to fix

P1 doesn't have any patches that I know of.
