Actually, I'm siding with F-15.  One big reason I no longer frequent
the UDIC newsgroups is because of stuck up people like you. People
who've made Ultima and Origin their life. EA/Origin is a faceless
corporation. You think they give a damn about you? Maybe Richard
Gariott does, but the company as a whole? 
You know, back when Garriott and Brian Martin were really exited about
the UDIC, I often wondered how often they read that newsgroup with the
petty battles and whining brats complaining about everything. Once in
a blue moon you'd see a post about Ultima, but it was a rare
occurance.  Maybe if you stuck up snobs got knocked down a few rungs
on the ladder of elitism you put up, and realized you really aren't
that big of a deal,  it'd be a much more pleasant place to go.
