Hmmm... I dunno either. You talking the Death Star main gun? That'd
blow a starship up, of course, but it takes so long to aim and fire it
at a planet that I can't see them aiming at a ST type starship.

Good point. I don't know what the charge is on those things. If it's
chemical (an explosive) I wouldn't give them a chance... But if it's
something else? I dunno. If they match up closely with photon torps
(which are 'effing anti-matter), then the Enterprise would have real
problems with a bunch of torps delivered by fighters.
