    The ship of WC4 are excellent. There are new ships for the Confeds.
One of them the Bearcat. The Bearcat and the Excalibur are similar.
Here's the comparison:

    Even though the Excalibur has two Ion guns, most people would
probably only use the Tachyon guns. Winner: Excalibur

    More shields and armor the better. Winner: Bearcat

Velocity-       550 max. 1400 afterburners            500 max. 
                                                      1300 afterb.
    Higher velocity can be important in combat and other unusual
situations. Winner: Bearcat

Jump capailibity- None                                Yes

    Jump capailibity is very useful and a fighter with it can be use in
long and diffcult missions. Winner: Excalibur

Yaw Pitch Roll- 90 80 90                              70 75 70

    High Yaw, Pitch and Roll is important in intense combat. Winner:
Bearcat

Decoys-         24                                    16

    Useful against enemies that fires a lot of missles. Winner: Bearcat

    Overall the Bearcat is better even though it doesn't have jump
capability. The Bearcat even looks better. But I would trade speed,
movement, shields and armor for jump capability.
