Yeah, DOSBox takes some figuring out at first. And it's interface
is... well... open-source-esque. But once you get the hang of it,
you'll realize you have but to tweak a line or two of the CFG files
specific to each game, and then you need only create a shortcut to
launch the game with a single double-click. In many ways, it's
actually easier to finagle DOSBox than actually mucking around with a
REAL DOS machine (and no need to worry about dual boots and boot
managers or whether your PCI soundcard will work in DOS or any of that
stuff).

Sure there's room for improvement (e.g., WC1 and WC2 don't run for
more than a mission or two before crashing) but since DOSBox is still
beta-ware I can't hold it against them; good emulation is a tough but
and every version is an improvement over the last. It's a blast to be
able to play all my favorite DOS classics again (heck, it even runs
Zone66!) . It's not -yet- the ultimate answer for all old DOS games,
but it is definitely something any serious PC gamer needs to have on
his hard-drive.

But anyway, if I remember correctly, to fix your problem, all you have
to do is create a CONFIG.SYS text file with the line FIELS=25 into the
directory you mounted as your C drive

e.g., for my DOSBox config, I've done:
	MOUNT C D:\GAMES\DOSBOX
which creates a virtual C:\ drive for DOSBox. Using my example, I'd
put my CONFIG.SYS into D:\GAMES\DOSBOX and when DOSBox starts, it will
read the config.sys from there.

I think.
