I am having a problem with directly connecting two computers.

Here is the problem. I have one computer with a cd-rom and one
without. I installed the software on one of the computers and then
lap linked the two together and copied the game over. I start a
multiplayer game. Ok so far so good. The problem occurs 5 - 10
minutes in the game the two computer all of a sudden can't see each
other. We are playing with no problems. I can see him he can see me
and then wham! game over.

Any ideas?

I think it might be because the second computer needs a cdrom drive
even though it won't be used.

And if you are running Win95, with Warcraft II you get access to the
Scenario Editor. Which is pretty good as it does allow you to practically
have an indefinite replay value.

I would definetly suggest purchasing Warcraft II for the sheer fact that
the game is better designed, SVGA, and very fun to play. I've played many
8-player net games with it with both pre-made and custom senarios and
there is nothing that compares to a 4 on 4 net game... You cannot do that
in Warcraft one. Enjoy.
