Warcraft2: can't get war2edit to work

When I try to run the war2edit.exe, the program appears to partially load up (I see the beginnings of a few boxes form) I receive the following error message: Win32s - Error WAR2ED95.EXE Unhandled Exception detected. (Code: 0x0000005 STEALTH.DRV 1:0007) Application will be terminated. I am using Windows 3.1 and have setup WinG and Win32s. I have a Diamond Stealth 24VLB video card (could that be a problem?). I am using a 486dx2-66, 8 MB RAM, SB16, 2X Matsushita CDrom. Any help would be appreciated.

Wared95 is for Windows 95. Try using Wared.exe. Thats for normal old ugly Windows 3.1. Get Windows 95, everything new is going to be made for it, dont prolong the agony. Eggnog

Check diamonds web site for the latest version. (http://www.diamondmm.com) 2) Your video drivers have become corrupted.
