When do Pandaren recipes go green/grey?

I finally got my Pandaren monk to 85 and started her doing the
farming/cooking grind in the Pandaren specialties. I've done several mains
before and the first specialty recipe goes grey at 550, the second (giving
2 points each) goes grey at 575. But now with my Pandaren, both recipes are
remaining orange all the way to 575 with the second still giving two
points. I haven't tested yet to see how high I go.

Is this because I'm Pandaren with the Gourmand racial, or did Blizz change
the skill limits on these recipes? I'm looking forward to not having to
waste mats on banquets when I can make more chow for Tiller rep and get
skill points for it.

Wowhead and the other websites still show the old skill boundaries.

It will be because of your racial - the skills are going grey at the
usual times for my tauren who I've done some cooking on this week,
anyway. You'll find that everything goes grey 15 lvls later than
usual, because skill colour change levels increase with the racial -
I've had the same with jewelcrafting on a draenei and enchanting on a
blood elf. Only downside is, if you want the acheivement for reaching
600... you'll need 615 instead lol, as achievement credit goes off max
possible rather than the hard number - that drives me mad on affected
characters :-P

I'm curious: does your max possible go to 615 on the specialties as
well as main cooking? My only pandaren is lvl 49 so obviously can't
see!

Anyone know if the 3 +10 BoA items work the same way?
http://www.wowhead.com/item=86559
http://www.wowhead.com/item=86558
http://www.wowhead.com/item=86468

at 50 tokens or a grind probably not really worth all 3 but 1 maybe just for
the humps

there was also mention of a BoA goldsink book to level alts cooking in 5.3
but that doesn't seem to have appeared
it would negate all of this

Thanks! Handy to know, no idea if/when I'll get my pandaren to that
level anyway but useful to know when I do!
