2-3 months ago another 2 skyshards dropped for me in the Vale within a few mins. So my stack of those grew to 8. Woot! I just need 2 more! I found an addon named Rarity <http://www.curse.com/addons/wow/rarity> as I was curious about the droprate (yeah, I know its ridiculous low). This addon keep tracks of your kills versus the droprate of many specific items. Absolutely useless but interesting and fun. Since the skyshards now are BoA I use my destro lock for aoe farming when areas with loads of those Tricksters are up. Piss easy imho. :) Those Tricksters has a low HP, does low damage (they're able to stun you btw), runs around in groups and therefore are easy to aoe. This morning I passed 5000 dead mobs in the Vale - mainly Tricksters - according to this Rarity addon and not a SINGLE skyshards has dropped! AAAAAARGH!!!!! I have now deactivated the addon as it demoralizes me. Well. My farming of like 5-600 Tricksters this morning I got 132 motes, 12 stacks of windwool bolts, 14 greenies for DE, a handful of grey items for vendoring, a few cooking ingredients and almost 6 stacks of free food for my melees. Thats fine. But I want 2 skyshards... -- Peter T.

It's not a long fight. Once dead loot the body for his "reins" and done.

When Alani fell down the body got stuck in the "wall" of the mountain a bit too high above the ground. Luckily I could loot it by jumping. =) -- Peter T. <https://elite.frontier.co.uk/>

So far it says "Get 3,000 valor 0/1" or something. Click the 'show progress' check box - it'll put the number you've gotten on the screen. BTW: It's been nerfed I guess - used to be 6000. pt

I've been capping VP every week for months now. In order of decreasing time efficiency: Daily Scenario, Daily Heroic, LFR, dailies. Doing the first 3 will get you about 230 VP/day, and take around 90 minutes to two hours. pt

On my realm we are 3 guilds that "share" an event list for ToT LFRs every wednesday night. It fits perfectly into every guild's raid calendar as none of them raids wednesday night. So we are normally 15-25 toons for a full LFR run. That guarantees an almost instant access for the LFRs. Including VPs from trash it gives more than 400 VPs. Before and after the LFR runs smaller groups across the guilds usually do hc scens + the champion thunder king weekly quest. Thats 270-300 VPs. A single heroic gives at least 80 VPs. So with a few dailies a single toon can easily hit +800 VPs in like 4-6 hours. :) -- Peter T. <https://elite.frontier.co.uk/>

There are far much quicker and easier ways to get 90 valor. In fact, since I got my ilvl 600 cloak from the legendary quest line and upgraded it to 608, I'm now just going to cap my valors at 4K and *finally* am going to get to work on some of my alts, and just take my mage out for regular raiding and the such. In fact, I've switched my routine to focus on my Resto druid at the begining of the week, healing the LFR's, dungeons, etc. I get a lot quicker queues, and when I get her to her weekly cap, run my mage with the valor buff and I'll cap her with little effort. I am really looking forward for the next few weeks before they drop 5.4 in August to play some alts and relax a bit (and it coincides with my week vacation away so I won't miss anything) I actually got a chance to play around with some battle pets last night waiting for a unusual 15 minutes healing queue for ToT 2. I am looking forward to try the legendary questline solo scenario (the Forge) with my resto on heals. (I have her at 17 Secrets of the empire)
