So, what does your WoW week look like?

Things have got pretty quiet around here.... ATM, my main goal is to gear up my main. I'm no longer in a raiding team, and not sure how much I want to get back into that. My main is Vamoose, Misha-US, a Holy/Ret Paladin. Starting Tuesday, I try to run 1 scenario, 1 heroic, and 1 LFR each day, working on capping VP. This takes a couple hours. I've pretty much gotten everything that LFR can give my main (holy) spec, so I've switched over my loot speciailization to ret, and am trying to gear that side up. By the end of Friday, if all goes well, I've got all the VP and gear drops I'm going to get. I usually drop the scenario and heroic at that point, and finish the VP hunt with dailies, to get 50 Lesser Runes - it took till very recently to run through the hundreds I'd gotten while rep-grinding (all my MoP reps are maxed now). That's pretty much it, I'm afraid. After I max VP, etc, I just stop playing for the rest of the week (to my wife's considerable satisfaction). I'm stuck on keeping my main geared up (ilvl around 512), but trying to ease out of it otherwise - its been a long 6 years). Anyone else getting bored? pt

I can't manage to sustain that; I was doing daily stuff when working on the 6k valor quest but now, I pass - may do a single scenario if I'm in the mood, but not much else, although I try to do 1-2 bits of LFR in a week. My gear level is such that there's not a lot left for me now so it's not a great priority (and my offspec is another healing spec so no need for two gear sets!) so I'm just doing it for legendary quest items now. >By the end of Friday, if all goes well, I've got all the VP and gear >drops I'm going to get. I still have around 1700... they only seem to go up, especially now you get loads from pet battles! >That's pretty much it, I'm afraid. I'm a tad burned out on what I was previously concentrating on (valor farming, LFR, scenarios etc) but I'm not bored overall, as I've simply switched focus. Atm I'm working on Archaeology achievements, and pet collecting - the pets dropping in old raids are great for me as it's a nice excuse to do TBC content - brings back *huge* amounts of memories from the good old days in Karazhan (I ran that place for 6 months plus with a great bunch of friends back in the day; lost touch with all the players now but it kinda feels like their ghosts are in there with me whenever I go past a spot and remember things from those days), and exploring TK and SSC is great fun, I cleared SSC for the first time today and completed my T5 set, great! No luck with pet drops but it's fun anyway, so that's my weekly goal for the moment I think. Really need to keep doing LFR for the legendary chain and explore the place beyond just the first one but eh, I'm just burned out on group content I think. Must get down to it soon though, since I'd like to actually attempt to complete the legendary chain before the expansion ends.

Since nobody seems to know where it leads I am thinking the itemisation along the way is the chain rather than specifically leading to something singularly wonderful, more of a set of kit. Probably something at the end but not quite so all powerful in itself. http://wow.joystiq.com/tag/Wrathion-legendary/ http://www.tentonhammer.com/wow/guides/wrathion-53 like sockets , gems and an ilvl 600 back in 5.3 aren't pretty useful immediately and with extended use rather than something you may use for a week a year down the track?

Well, part 2 completed, not sure what I was worried about lol, mostly simple except the trash before Megaera - I've never understood why people think it's a great idea to skip trash, when in a pug. Nor why they feel the need to insult whoever manages to aggro the leftover mobs - we're not all perfect, Mr Elitist warlock that never shut up about it, go with your uber raid guild if you don't want mistakes... :-P Actually, I didn't ever pull, but I was expecting to, given I'm not the greatest at 360 degree awareness and I didn't know where to go! Rest of tonight I'll be farming motes to craft the belt which matches my priest T5 set (can't believe I know the recipe tbh, given it's BoP and my tailor is only 85, must have dropped when I was farming TK trash for a transmog item I wanted on that character, lucky!), for some reason primal water prices are through the roof on the AH right now (have to laugh, I had a big heap of them which I transmuted to air a while back, since prices were rock bottom, *then*, sigh), but between my engineer and some fishing that'll be fast enough :-)

Im busy with restorating my apartment before selling it. So my offduty-days goes with that! Anyway. In 3-4 hours there will be another reset (Im in EU and the time is 2:25am while I write this). I need around 700 veepees for the 522 waist for my mage. A hc, weekly hc scenario and maybe 2 raids tomorrow + some dailies while I'm queued will do a lot. And if I'm lucky I will also do the weekly shampions-quest on Isle of Thunder! My goal is always to get vp-capped asap. Thursday and friday is assigned to my apartment. Sat and sun is work + party and then we have mon and tues for my apartment and picking up the rest of the vps + rep. I will still try to master my destro lock. But I have some difficulties with my gnome and worse geared locks still does almost twice as much dps as I do in LFRs. Tonight I've just finished second wing of ToT in LFR and another 502 lock totally outdps'ed my 517 lock. I actually love when I'm outdpsed on my lock! Dunno why so please dont ask. =) My mage is maxed out in all MoP factions too except Nat Pagle. So I have started looking at the classic factions and maxing him out in those one by one by going through them from A to Z. Argent Crusade was a walk in the park and next is Ashtongue Deathsworn. I've never heard about them, but I'm 275/3000 neutral. I am soooo excited! (not) :) Meanwhile I will look out for another realm, guild, whatever... I've not checked, but I did hear that the item you get at the end is an ilvl 600 cape. I'm on the second round of token collecting, and at 13/20 at the moment. I hope to finish this week, and move on to the next round of get-crap-from-bosses. pt

The 5.3 item is the 600 cape, think there'll be an orange *something* for 5.4, from what I've heard, but no idea what yet. Possibly a weapon but who knows? 4/20 on the secrets, I'll be way behind the curve getting there, anyway...

Yea - Good luck with that unless they increased the drop rate on secrets...lol You also have the solo scenario (which they nerfed the crap out of since I did it), then take the lance that you get from the scenario, go get a Nalak group, and use the lance, kill the additional add that spawns, then take the charged lance back to wrathion, where he'll tell you to stab Li-Shen (the final boss in ToT), so you have to run the last (part 4) of the LFR, then go back to wration and THEN you can move onto the next round of "get-crap-from-bosses" called "Titan Runestones", which you will need to collect 12 of, and are only available from the last 6 bosses (parts 3 & 4 of LFR).... ...and let me tell you the damn drop rate on those is beyond crap. You are now guaranteed one per week (one will now always drop from the last boss - Li Shen) so it could take a max of 12 weeks. I have 6 in 5 weeks now....sucks. Guildie has 8 in 3-1/2 weeks (pisses me off to no end), but it defiantly is not quick unless you have a "in" with Bliz....lol. Oh, and the kicker is this is still all part of 5.2! I have 6 more Titans (max 6 weeks to accumulate), before I even get to the 5.3 series of the legendary quest line which is out. :) ...Can you tell I hate the droprate? Esp when someone like my guildie does the solo scenario 3 weeks ago after it's nerfed (where I did it pre-nerf 5-6 weeks ago, and was hard), and is now ahead of me on the runestones. It's a little different than those raiders who worked hard to clear Wrath heroic raids at level and now anyone can. This is a case where it's ongoing/current content... grrr :) > > The 5.3 item is the 600 cape, think there'll be an orange *something* > for 5.4, from what I've heard, but no idea what yet. Kill the final boss in ToT, then go back in to kill earlier bosses?
I wonder how the lore on that is explained...

NPCs actually live in a reverse timeline. So they see themselves starting out being clobbered endlessly in patch 7.7 then grow to being more powerful until no character can even enter most of their domains in vanilla , no character can beat even a lvl 2 wolf and most of the players have been banished. NPCs have spirit healers as well, and they petition a special group of GMs to get their gear restored after it was ripped off. Thats why some take a long while to reset. Each time they are resurrected they grow stonger and mov further back in our timeline. Thats why they seem to know our names , they know all about us since we/they just/soon killed/kill them/us. Caverns of Time, Kronos, Green Dream, you used to know this next year.
