I think it's called Grim Batol
Any advice on this level would be appreciated.  I can't get past the guard 
towers and axthrowers to find gold or wood.

At the start go south and rescue the catapaults. Then board the transports 
and take the town. Then make the boats you need to take out the oil rigs. 
Use your men wisely to take the town. you must do it with what you have.

Thanks Dan...  I can't believe how stupid I've been!  I've been going south 
and killing the catapults!!!!   You know the theory of kill it before it kills 
you.    Couldn't understand why they didn't fight back.  Suspected it was 
something about the wall.  Anyway...thanks again for helping the dummy :  )

Here's another good hint.  USE BATTLESHIPS!!
 They have a very long range.  You can destroy the oil refineries if you
stay in the right places without getting wasted by the towers and without
using land attackers.
