So now that we all have WarCraft 2 and have discovered the Windows95 sound editor that's accessible in the map editor, does anyone have or has anyone created any sound schemes for the game to replace the defaults? I think that this sound editor has some great potential if we can just find enough Wav files to get a recurring theme going in the game. Some suggestios I've had from friends are a Star Trek type of theme, Beavis and Butthead, or blah blah whatever .. I realize it is difficult to find so many wav files to apply to every setting, but it would be nice to replace a few here and there. Let me know what yall think and I would be more than willing to work with someone or a goup of someones on getting some .zip files together. Thanks.. Raddo

WELL here is something that I've discovered today about music in this
game is that you do not have to listen to the music from the WCII CD
simple all you do is start the mission after that go to the menu under
OPTIONS choose SOUND disable the CD music and take it out insert other CD
( I've tried this with only MECHWARRIOR II CD it the same RED BOOK music
idea and this should work for any CD). Then enable the cd music and you
rock the game.
BUT there is the confirmation thing so before you finsh the mission do
one thing put WCII CD back in the same way you put it in. That way you
should aviod the trouble of pressing R to retry the CD. IF you do this
save your game as often as possible and I think this way you don't have
to use the music file editor.
I hope this helps...

Am I the only one who bought this game or just the only one who has read the manual? 75% or more of the questions in this group could be answered if the person read the manual. The other 25% are people looking for cracks.
