...Just a random comment on walls. ...I had my first oportunity to actually play a multiplayer game today and am disapointed in walls. They are just too hard to build... I don't mind a peon having to build them (and in fact think it is a touch of reality), but it takes too long to build them one block at a time having to find the peon, click him, hit B, W, click on the spot... I know, not much more than before, but just a nuisance enough to stop me. Being able to "draw" a line would improve situations. ...BTW, the situation: I was building a "fake" city to distract my oponent. I set up 2 arrow towers (whatever they are called) and was going to build a wall to hold him back. (we were agreeing to play w/o air units). I figgured he'd devote a significant force to get through my walls and towers while I was flanking... It was an amuzing idea I abandoned after seeing how walls work now :-( just a thought snafu aka Stephen F Roberts /------------------------------------\ /---------------------< and the truth will set you free... | | sn...@io.com \--------->--------------------------/ | http://www.io.com/~snafu | \--------------------------------/
