i don't really like building walls, as I think more military units work betterr for defense. That and walls are easily destroyed, as well as the time it takes to build them. Walls might be neat to try, but I don't rely on them. Towers aren't bad at all. Cannon's are nice against ground troops (as well\ as sea units), but I'd prefer to build arrow ones, as they protect the airways as well. Air superiority is a big factor in War2, so this helps. Matt

Walls are great against the computer since the AI isn't smart enough to attack them. Build a couple in the right places and you can completely seal off areas from computer attack (except for air units). Against human opponents I would agree that they aren't worth the time it takes to build them. : Towers aren't bad at all. Towers can be nice, but since the are immobile are very vulnerable. I used to use them a lot, but generally avoid them now. Against the computer, mages and catapults protected by walls are better, and against another human it's best to try to gain the offensive...if that isn't possible, a flexible defense works best. Any decent player will go around the tower or smash it from out of it's range. : Matt Tom

If you use towers for defence you need both. ---------------------------------------------------------------------- Glenn Murray
