Depending on the prices you can mine->AH->buy bars for engineering. Or mine(skillup mining)->smelt(skillup mining)->make engee(skillup engee). about 1.5 skillups 2 per mining action. Assuming 2-3 ore -> 1-2 ore per bar, a lot of bars per item. You may want to look at the pandaria goggles for extra nodes, or wait and make them yourself.
