I have to agree, Humans and Orcs simply are not interchangable. You can raise hell with Orcs but get wiped out with Humans and vice-versa. Unfortunately, I still have to say that Orcs don't have all the natural advantages they should. Peons should rightfully be able to cut down trees a bit faster, and carry more gold at a time, or faster. If you look at the battle scene in the mac demo, however, you do see that the same number and type of Orc units in the same formation, wipe out the humans without flinching. Ya just gotta use em right. There are some basic strategies that do work with both, like lining up 12 archer/spearmen on a bridge, with a couple of thugs to intercept anyone who survives the first four waves ov flying death. A human will learn from this, but it works like a charm over and over again against the computer, like the trick of sending a lure out and back to this little formation once it catches a couple of suckers. But then as it gets more advanced, send a couple of necrolytes to profit from it, or clerics to keep your thugs alive. Then it gets actually advanced, and the stratagies that work for one aren't worth shit for the other. Message long enough Seilihpotsihpem
