Geez, were you guys stoned all the way through junior high science??
There IS no dark side of the moon...it's just that  there's a side
that's permanently turned away from the earth because of tidal forces. 
It's lit up by the sun in a month long cycle just like the side we can
see.

Sheesh....if you don't know this elementary layman's Newtonian
astronomy, forget about debating relativity.
