A person travelling from A (where the observer is) to point B will find
his distance to travel will be shortened exponentially as he approaches
light speed. If he actually travelled at light speed all the way from
point A to B then he would arrive at point B instantly after leaving
point A.
This makes the concept of travelling faster than light speed very
interesting. I can only imagine that the observer would see him arrive
at point B before he actually left point A. And if he then came back to
point A at 2C he may actually arrive before he left point A originally.
In other words he would have gone back in time as far as the observer is
concerned.
Therefore time travel forwards and backwards in time should
theoretically be possible.
