I have a Pentium 100, with Windows 95 at home and I use Mac LC630's at work

Sure the Mac operating system is fool proof and it doesn't crash as often
and the graphics look better

BUT

Life is too short to use an Apple Mac

they are "painfully" slow and contrary to popular belief - they cannot
multitask - while one application is using the network - the computer
freezes until it is finished - that does not happen with Windows 95.

I was a devoted DOS man until Windows 95 came along - sure it's not perfect
- but when is anything that microsoft put out - the trouble is that windows
95 has to deal with a lot of different configurations and hardware - Mac
only has to deal with its own.

And if I had to wait for all the Games to come out on Mac - Sheeeesh - I'd
be an old man before I got to play space invaders ! and by the time they
do come out - the bugs would have to be fixed.

For some people - Mac's are the best and will always be - Just like Amigas
& Atari's - I know people who swear by them - but if you interested in
productivity - cutting edge technology - being compatable with the rest of
the world - then don't get a Mac
