Since the high sales in the first month conitnued for several |months up to now, and that win95 is preinstalled on most systems being |sold... I think you should learn to look beyond you tiny realm of mind! |Buy a clue yourself. Yeah, right; and, Santa Claus is coming to town, too! The "high sales" have not continued; and, that's a fact documented in the press. Retailers are returning substantial amounts of unsold/unsellabe Win95; and, this with Christmas only a month away - the season when most retailers do 50-70% of their $ volume. The only thing saving Win95 from BoB's fate is pre-loads; and, we all know that a pre-load does not necessarily spawn a user. What this boils down to is that Win95 has a "user base" at best half the size of OS/2's - a bit short of Dataquest's 35 million dream, eh? As for clues: the clue Goldman Sachs is suggesting is their removal of Microsoft from their recommended list. You make the call. Phil "Guido" Cava TeamOS/2 Help, PC!
