How does one access >one's gold in order to buy the token? Nowadays, inactive accounts act like "starter" accounts, ie you can play characters under lvl 20 with heavy restrictions. So you can log in as far as the character screen, and I believe at that point, there's an option to buy a token, which will take gold from your characters in order to pay for it. A bit awkward, but from all I hear it works alright for people who weren't already subbed, you just need to have enough gold across your characters to pay for a token. US prices started at 30k and dropped to as low as 20k, EU will start at 35k (not sure why we're higher, unless we just have more active high-gold players?), will be interesting to see where our price goes. I'll happily pay 20k, won't bother if it stays at 30-35k, and if it goes higher still I might be tempted to put some RL money into it and get some gold instead...
