The event goes on until January, in any case you don't need to do any
heroics to reach 615, I'm 617 and not even done any normals since
Auchindoun, there's other ways to get gear :-) Craft a 640, buy a 630
from Apexis Crystals, get the first part of legendary ring which only
needs normal dungeons, etc :-)
