Glyph effects have changed, talents have changed, rotations and skills have changed. Complexity has been decreased, some cds are really meant to be used as often as possible. With less to do it can seem as if you have less resources. It seemed a little bit squishier but not more actual deaths. If you are heavily itemised for the old stats that can make a lot of difference as well. Using the old rotations with the changed attack skills, some by the old name but different now, can do that. e.g My warrior had a glyph that affected whirlwind, when it wasn't used so much it worked nicely into a macro sequence -> when this rage user happens later I know I will have enough rage to do it. but with whirlwind used more often it was leaching rage until everything ground to a halt.
