It's irrelevant to getting the mount, which drops only from Kael'thas (sp?). I used a fairly complex strategy to separate the 4 mini-bosses and kill them one by one (its in the wowhead comments). One of the key elements is to fight the boss and mini-bosses in the corridors, where they can't knock you back or up in the air as easily. pt
