I just did last boss in Tempest Keep today as I'm farming the Ashes of Al'ar mount. All adds were dead and I only had the boss left. Suddenly this birdie appeared at my right side fighting me while Kael'thas Sunstrider was up in the air untargetable. This was very unexpected so I killed the bird and then the boss. When the boss died I saw an egg on the ground where the bird died. It disappeared in front of my eyes. So I looted the boss and still no mount. I've checked wowhead several times now and nothing tells me about this extra add. Have I misunderstood something? Should I have looted the egg before I killed the boss?
