Seemingly random events are often due to combinations of things, like the loss inraid could be some other buff ticking off. e.g. If it happened during a zone change you could go to a zone edge and cross a few times to see if that triggered it. When flying was it a zone change? Just keeping pushing buttons until somewthing breaks or settles back into place.
