9 days in and my lock is at lvl 64. Dungeons with quests now give about
3/4 of a level of xp. I realize plenty of people have gone faster, but I'm
pretty comfortable. I haven't seen a quest mob I can't take down without
trouble - I've died in non-instances only a couple of times when I was
hit by several mobs at once - I'm still learning to use my defensive
cooldowns.

In instances, I find I can top dps charts when AOEing down 6+ mobs, and I can
do very decent damage to bosses who take a while to bring down. But when
there's only a few of mobs to deal with, or single non-bosses, my dps is
pitiful - the lock's damage is all back-loaded, you set up dots first, and
they don't do much until you use some other specific spells. As a result, the
mobs are dying to the other players before I can do much.
