I checked the news tab in the guild window and saw a lock just got it. 
I dont think he was aware of the rarity of this item so I asked:
Me "warlock?"
*2 mins later*
Me "warlock?  You just looted hellscream's staff ^^"
Him "Yes."
*rest of the guild wakes up*
Guildie #1 "hm?"
Me "You know the drop rate of it?  Its like zero point zero.. ^^"
Him "sry havent checked"
guildie #2 "wtf?  GRATS!"

lol

So those heirloom actually exists! :)
