Then they logon alli and do the same, just to stir everyone up.
Look at it this way, a kitten wasn't tortured that night.

Some games give pvp a repair cost or a battle fatigue exhaustion effect, 
stops a lot of outright griefing - after a while.
Annoy enough people and the antagonist will be getting weaker just as they 
get really ticked off.
You can still fight almost indefinitely, just needs ever more expensive 
potions to keep going with ever decreasing returns.
It is even vaguely realistic .

the sheer volume of QQ from that change pre-echoed back and snuffed the 
entire timeline with that change out of existence!
