I cancelled my subs about 40 days ago actually and >haven't played since. Also been away on holiday which helped ;-) I've also cancelled my subs and haven't played WoW in a little over a month. The thing that made me cancel was the big lag spikes that I often got which meant that I couldn't progress to running instances on my healer or tank because I was paranoid of them causing a wipe. Whilst I was away from WoW I thought that I'd give Rift a go. Even if I got the lag spikes, I would still have a lot of solo play that I could do so I thought that the purchase price was worth it. It turns out that I don't get the lag spikes in Rift so I'm happy playing that for now. If/when I get tired of it I might investigate the WoW lag spikes but that won't be for a while I don't think. >I have many fond memories of the game, and may well be back one day. >This has been an excellent group with mostly mature, friendly and good >conversation. It has often been the driving force behind my resurrecting a long-parked alt (my Rogue after a thread about when to use your trinket against a Rogue in PvP and my Mage and Warlock after threads about certain specs) I must say, I'm really missing a similar forum of discussion for Rift. The official forums are similar in quality to the WoW forums - every class is overpowered, every class is underpowered, cries about why class X has been nerfed when class Y needed nerfing more, everyone threatening to cancel their subs unless some part of the game is improved, PvP guys complaining about lack of PvP content, PvE guys complaining about griefing by the other faction etc. That kind of rubbish doesn't happen here and that's what makes it a great place to chat. >PS. Any advice on FX trading welcomed :p Buy low, sell high? :P steve.kaye -- Jelan, 85 Priest Clokk, 81 Druid Belugar, 76 Warrior Kibbs, 83 Paladin Jengu, 81 Death Knight Mingan, 76 Shaman Miho, 82 Rogue Jaille, 80 Warlock Aloola, 65 Mage [ Ravenholdt-EU (Horde) ] Yopp, 64 Hunter
